In 2014, our Foundation prepared to announce the results of our RAND report, and with it, a national campaign to strengthen services for military and veteran caregivers. To amplify our messages and give a voice to active caregivers in every state across the nation, we named a new class of Dole Caregiver Fellows. This month concludes two years of service for the Fellows class of 2014, and we could not be more grateful for their contributions.

Our soon-to-be alumni Fellows have met personally with First Lady Michelle Obama and more than 100 Members of Congress. They have spoken at events across the country, provided first-hand knowledge to our Impact Councils, acted as a sounding board for National Coalition members, shaped the priorities of our Foundation, and opened their lives to millions of Americans through scores of media stories. They have been instrumental to every milestone reached by the Foundation and our partners in the last two years.

We are proud of our Dole Caregiver Fellows. The entire Foundation family is grateful for the precious time and energy that they shared with us. And above all else, we are thankful that they allowed our nation to have a glimpse into their every day lives. It is never easy allowing the public to witness your personal challenges; but in doing so, these caregivers have left our nation better informed and more inspired.
