Funding Critical Financial Assistance
Through the Bob Hope Fund for Critical Financial Assistance, caregivers, veterans, and their families facing financial hardship can access direct relief grants for urgent needs such as housing, medical bills, utilities, and essential repairs.
These grants provide more than short-term relief. They restore security during moments of crisis and create a path toward renewed stability. By pairing immediate assistance with personalized Resource Navigation services, the Bob & Dolores Hope Foundation helps build a system of support that addresses both urgent challenges and long-term wellbeing.
Honoring Bob Hope’s Enduring Legacy
At our 2024 Heroes & History Makers Gala, the Elizabeth Dole Foundation proudly presented Bob Hope, posthumously, with the Tom Hanks Caregiver Champion Award, accepted by his daughter Linda Hope, in recognition of his extraordinary lifetime of dedication to America’s military community.
Bob Hope showed up across oceans and decades, bringing much-needed levity and encouragement to service members far from home. His legacy is not just a historic one, but a living one, and that spirit of steadfast presence lives on through the work of the Bob & Dolores Hope Foundation.

The Bob & Dolores Hope Foundation’s impact extends far beyond funding. As our very first Caregiver Champions, Linda Hope and the Bob & Dolores Hope Foundation helped launch a national community committed to honoring and uplifting military and veteran caregivers year-round and have inspired thousands of supporters to strengthen this mission.
