WASHINGTON, August 11, 2026 — The Elizabeth Dole Foundation, the nation's leading organization serving America's 14.3 million military and veteran caregivers, today announced the appointment of two new members to its Board of Directors: Bruce Caswell, president and CEO of Maximus, and Jeff DiLullo, chief executive officer of Philips North America.

"Strong governance starts with purpose, values, and principled leadership — and Bruce and Jeff bring all three to this Board," said Bob McDonald, chair of the Elizabeth Dole Foundation Board of Directors. "I've spent my career, in the military, in business, and in public service, watching what happens when leaders hold themselves to those standards. Bruce and Jeff have shown that same commitment throughout their careers, and their experience will sharpen our governance and our focus as we work to reach every caregiver who needs us. I'm proud to welcome them to this Board."

Bruce Caswell is president and CEO of Maximus, a leading strategic partner to government agencies dedicated to advancing critical missions and improving outcomes for the people they serve. Across his decades of public sector leadership, Bruce has been focused on advanced technology and innovative solutions that improve outcome-based government program and service delivery to meet our nation’s evolving needs for service members, veterans, and caregivers.

"At Maximus, our mission is to deliver government services with excellence to the people who depend on them — at scale, and without fail," said Caswell. "With that same level of urgency and focus, I look forward to helping deepen the Foundation’s positive impact on the lives of millions of veterans, military families, and their caregivers."

Jeff DiLullo serves as chief executive officer of Philips North America and a member of the Royal Philips Executive Committee, overseeing the company's health technology business across the region. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and a veteran of the U.S. Army, DiLullo has been a long-standing partner to the Elizabeth Dole Foundation and to the broader military and veteran community throughout his career at Philips.

“Philips is honored to support the U.S. Veteran’s Health Administration with innovations that improve care for millions of our heroes across the country. As a veteran and the father of an active-duty member of our military, I understand that Military and veteran caregivers carry an extraordinary weight, often quietly,” said DiLullo. “They have a consuming commitment to their mission, complex challenges to navigate and it takes a significant toll at home. I have seen firsthand what it means when an organization like the Elizabeth Dole Foundation shows up for them. I'm honored to join this Board and support this mission in a new way."

Caswell and DiLullo join the Board at a pivotal moment for the Foundation, as it advances its National Blueprint for Action and works to expand its reach to the millions of caregivers who remain unaware that support exists for them.

"We are welcoming Bruce and Jeff to this Board at a moment that demands vision as much as heart," said Steve Schwab, president and CEO of the Elizabeth Dole Foundation. "With recent conflict abroad, a new generation of military families is stepping into caregiving for the first time, often without yet knowing the word for what they're carrying. That is exactly the moment this Foundation exists for, and exactly why the leadership Bruce and Jeff bring matters so much right now. Both share a deep personal commitment to the caregivers who carry so much for our nation's veterans and service members, and both know what it takes to lead an organization through a moment of real consequence. We are building toward a future where every one of these families is found, seen, and supported — and I'm honored to have their leadership as we get there."
