Emma Heming Willis Says Husband Bruce Willis Is 'Surrounded by Love' As She Gives Health Update

Dole Caregiver Fellow Nikki Stephens joined Savannah Guthrie and Emma Heming Willis on TODAY to highlight military and veteran caregivers.

For more than two decades, Nikki has cared for her husband John, a Marine veteran who sustained a traumatic brain injury in Iraq in 2004 and now lives with major neurocognitive disorder. We applaud Nikki for her courage in sharing her story and spotlighting the vital role fellow caregivers have played in her journey.

When Nikki met Emma Heming Willis, this year’s Tom Hanks Caregiver Champion Award recipient, at our Heroes and History Makers Gala, Emma said she felt “an instant comfort level I have never really received anywhere else.” That is the power of caregiver-to-caregiver connection.
