Betzy Oviedo

Betzy is a proud Peruvian and serves as a Program Intake Specialist, where she supports prospective beneficiaries by gathering information, assessing needs, and guiding caregivers through the initial steps of engagement to ensure they are connected with the appropriate resources.
She earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from George Mason University in Spring 2024. Prior to joining the Elizabeth Dole Foundation, Betzy worked in higher education, where she assisted in coordinating programs designed to support first-generation college students in accessing higher education and successfully transitioning into university life.
Outside of her professional work, Betzy enjoys staying active at the gym, dancing bachata, and exploring cultures through food, music, and travel.
