Leah Hellwege

Leah serves as the Senior Coordinator, Programs at the Elizabeth Dole Foundation, where she manages operations and member engagement for the Hidden Helpers Coalition, an alliance of more than 110 organizations supporting military and veteran caregiver families. In this role, she oversees coalition communications and outreach, leads production of the Foundation’s coalition newsletter, and coordinates initiatives that strengthen collaboration among partners and expand support for youth caregivers. Leah also leads the planning and coordination of the Foundation’s caregiver mental wellness programs and resources. Before stepping into her current role, Leah served as a Programs Intern at the Foundation, supporting several national caregiver initiatives.Leah graduated from Fairfield University with a degree in Psychology, a concentration in Behavioral Neuroscience, and a minor in Public Health.
