Director, Resource Navigation and Financial Assistance

Marjorie Pennington-Healy

Marjorie serves as the Director of Resource Navigation and Financial Assistance at the Elizabeth Dole Foundation. A 2017 Dole Caregiver Fellow Alumna from Maine, she has dedicated her career to supporting and advocating for military and veteran caregivers. She has also served as lead alumna for advocacy and special projects, reflecting her leadership and ongoing commitment to the caregiver community.

With 17 years of experience in the veteran nonprofit community, Marjorie has worked closely with the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs to help service members, veterans, families, and caregivers access essential support. In her current role, she leads efforts to connect caregivers with critical resources, personalized navigation, and financial assistance.

Recognized for her personal caregiving journey and dedication to the caregiver community, Marjorie received the Family Caregiver Visionary Award in 2020.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Marjorie led Code of Support Foundation’s case management program and served as Director of a specialized work-at-home program that employed severely injured veterans and their caregivers.

Marjorie earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and received a certification in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from the University of Notre Dame. She is also the author of Bringing the War Home: The Life of a Military Caregiver.
