Our Caregivers

Little is known about the total number of individuals who may have served or are currently serving as military caregivers. We also know very little about who they are: they may be young or old. They may be spouses, neighbors, or parents. They may be assisting a sergeant, who recently lost his leg in Afghanistan, a young lieutenant with a Traumatic Brain Injury, a veteran suffering from depression, or an individual impacted by all three conditions. However diverse this group of caregivers, each of them shoulders the primary responsibility for providing critical care and support to our military veterans, care that may last months, years, or decades.
