• Senator Elizabeth Dole Testimony before the U.S. Senate Special Committee on Aging
• Elizabeth Dole Foundation Submits Public Comments to the VA on the Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers
• Steve Schwab Written Testimony for “VA Caregiver Support Program: Correcting course for veteran caregivers” – A hearing of the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs
• Signing of the VA Mission Act in 2018, which expanded the VA’s Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers (PCAFC) beyond those caring for veterans who served after September 11^th, 2001.
• Introduction of the Helping Heroes Act of 2023, which provides assistance to the roughly 2.3 million children caring for a disabled veteran 
• The Veteran Caregiver Reeducation, Reemployment, and Retirement Act, which expands medical and employment benefits for military caregivers
