WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Elizabeth Dole Foundation today announced the election of Jenna Saucedo-Herrera, head of Corporate Impact at USAA, and Sonya Medina Williams, President and CEO of Reach Resilience, an Endeavors Foundation, to its Board of Directors.

Saucedo-Herrera and Medina Williams bring extensive leadership experience in resilience strategy, corporate impact, and military family support—expertise that strengthens the Foundation’s mission to empower, support, and advocate for the nation’s 14.3 million military and veteran caregivers.

Saucedo-Herrera serves as head of corporate impact for USAA, a leading financial services provider for the military community. She is vice-chair of the USAA Foundation and USAA Educational Foundation and oversees corporate philanthropy, belonging, military advocacy and community development for the association. Prior to joining USAA in 2025, Saucedo-Herrera served as president and CEO of greater:SATX Regional Economic Partnership, where she led efforts to recruit major employers, expand global business partnerships, and strengthen the regional workforce pipeline. Her leadership in advancing economic security and cross-sector partnerships complements the Foundation’s work to expand economic mobility and opportunity for caregivers.

As President and CEO of Reach Resilience, an Endeavors Foundation, Medina Williams leads national efforts advancing trauma-informed and resilience-centered solutions that strengthen individuals, families, and communities navigating complex challenges. She previously served in the White House as Deputy Assistant to President George W. Bush for Domestic Policy and Director of Projects for First Lady Laura Bush, advancing major initiatives focused on global health, military families, and women’s empowerment. Medina Williams also brings extensive experience in corporate philanthropy and social impact, including leading the AT&T Global Foundation supporting education and sustainability initiatives. She currently serves on several public company and nonprofit boards, including TKO Group Holdings, Inc., the global sports and entertainment company that owns UFC and WWE; Papa Johns International, Spurs Give, and The Texas Tribune. Her focus on long-term wellbeing and sustainable systems aligns closely with the Foundation’s commitment to caregiver health and stability.

“Jenna and Sonya understand that supporting caregivers is fundamental to the strength of our military families and communities,” said Steve Schwab, CEO of the Elizabeth Dole Foundation. “Their experience building resilient systems and mobilizing corporate and community resources will help accelerate the Elizabeth Dole Foundation’s efforts to ensure caregivers are recognized, supported, and equipped to thrive.”

“Military and veteran caregivers deserve more than appreciation; they need tangible pathways to financial security,” said Saucedo-Herrera. “I am proud to join the Elizabeth Dole Foundation Board, a longstanding partner of USAA, to honor the service and sacrifice of our nation’s hidden heroes by championing real solutions for their families.”

“Caring for our nation’s wounded, ill, and injured service members is a national responsibility—and military and veteran caregivers shoulder much of that burden every day,” said Medina Williams. “I am honored to join the Elizabeth Dole Foundation’s Board and support its work to strengthen caregiver wellbeing, expand access to meaningful support, and elevate the voices of the millions of Americans serving in this vital role.”

“Jenna and Sonya bring strategic vision and deep commitment to military families to our Board,” said Bob McDonald, chairman of the Elizabeth Dole Foundation Board of Directors and the 8th Secretary of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. “Their leadership will help the Foundation continue driving meaningful, lasting impact for caregivers.”
